How wonderful it was to have Rabbi Harlen Wall bring the word this past Sunday! I know many of us received new revelation of His word and are hungry for more. We were all blessed to receive the rabbinical blessing!
Jesus the Bread of Life
In John 6, we see Jesus, the disciples and the miracle of the fish and the loaves. The next day, the people went looking for Jesus, but by this time, Jesus and the disciples were on the other side of the sea. So when the crowd realized He was gone and wasn’t coming back, they piled into the Tiberias boats and headed for Capernaum, looking for Jesus. When the people arrived on the other side and saw Jesus, they wanted to know when He had got there.
In verse 26-27 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.
Jesus is showing us that He alone can satisfy and redeem our soul. He wants to give us life in Him, the true bread of life, that will never spoil, that will sustain us, eternally. Just believe as in John 6:29, Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
Please welcome Yawen and his team to True Life Fellowship this coming Sunday Oct 13 2013.
